Neuhaus celebrates the magic of the countdown with three new Advent Calendars

This festive season, Neuhaus invites chocolate lovers to rediscover the magic of Christmas through three enchanting Advent Calendars. Inspired by its rich heritage, the new collection transforms the countdown into a nostalgic journey through the history of Neuhaus’ Belgian craftsmanship, offering moments of joy to be shared with loved ones, both young and old.

"With its 2025 Advent Calendar collection, Neuhaus celebrates its heritage as the inventor of the Belgian praline"

Each calendar brings to life scenes from the Galerie de la Reine in Brussels, where Neuhaus’ story began in 1857. Behind every window lies not only a delicious Belgian chocolate but also a glimpse into timeless traditions, turning a simple ritual into a story worth sharing.

A journey through chocolate history

The highlight of the collection is the Advent Calendar Book – Our Chocolate Story, a beautifully illustrated keepsake that unfolds in four chapters. From Jean Neuhaus’ pharmacy in the Galerie de la Reine to the invention of the first Belgian praline in 1912 and the creation of the iconic ballotin, each scene reveals a milestone in Neuhaus’ history.

The calendar holds 25 pralines, including an exclusive star-shaped praline from the Neuhaus Limited Edition Souvenirs filled with popcorn cream and salted caramel.

Double the joy of sharing

The Sharing Advent Calendar brings together family and friends around a Brussels skyline on Christmas Eve. Inside, nostalgic illustrations reveal the first Neuhaus boutique and festive family moments, while 78 pralines and treats ensure that sharing never means halving. Each door hides two chocolates, offering double indulgence and a taste of Neuhaus’ finest creations: from pralines and snacking delights to hot chocolate bars.

A classic for all ages

Designed to capture the wonder of Christmas for children of all ages, the Classic Advent Calendar brims with playful charm. Illustrated in the same festive style as the new Neuhaus Holiday House Box, it contains 25 Belgian pralines and charming winter figurines filled with hazelnut praliné. A magical invitation to celebrate Christmas with a touch of nostalgia.

Celebrating the inventor story

With its 2025 Advent Calendar collection, Neuhaus celebrates its heritage as the inventor of the Belgian praline. More than a countdown, each calendar becomes a journey into its legacy: a blend of indulgence, craftsmanship, and heartwarming stories to savour during the countdown to December.

The Advent Calendars are now available in your nearest Neuhaus boutique and on the Neuhaus webshop.

About NEUHAUS

From its origins as a pharmacist to its present calling as a chocolatier, Neuhaus has always put caring for others and ensuring their wellbeing first. The family opened its first Neuhaus boutique in 1857 in the famous Galerie de la Reine in Brussels. To the delight of his customers, Jean Neuhaus cased his medicines in a thin layer of chocolate. In 1912, his grandson went one step further transforming this concept into the Belgian praline as we know it today, replacing the medicine in the chocolate casing with a delicious filling.

Neuhaus, the inventor of the Belgian praline, continues to pursue its goal of demonstrating its leadership qualities in the chocolate market by encouraging innovation and creating exciting new products with only natural ingredients.

Neuhaus and Belgium have been inextricably linked for more than 160 years - ever since our founder Jean Neuhaus opened his first boutique in the Galerie de la Reine in Brussels. Our pralines and truffles have always been crafted with consideration and respect in Belgium and we are firmly committed to upholding this tradition.
