This elegant assortment is characterised by rich and complimentary flavour combinations and made exclusively from plant-based ingredients of natural origin in keeping with the Neuhaus approach. The chocolates are palm oil-free and made with 100% sustainably produced cocoa (just like every Neuhaus chocolate).

Uplifting ganaches and silky caramels

The Vegan Collection comes in a stunning gift box containing 12 chocolates in four delicious varieties. With the latest innovation from Neuhaus, chocoholics can enjoy velvety dark chocolate pralines and mouth-watering symphonies of taste and texture guilt-free. The rich, premium Belgian dark chocolate blends seamlessly with silky caramels and smooth ganache centres. Delight your taste buds and relax and enjoy this taste sensation with abandon.

Ganaches:

  • A beautifully rich dark chocolate shell filled with a zesty yuzu and ginger vegan ganache. Topped with a generous layer of cream coloured chocolate.
  • A delicious dark chocolate shell filled with a fragrant Earl Grey tea and citrusy mandarin orange vegan ganache. Finished with a vibrant, orange-coloured chocolate topping.

Caramels:

  • A silky-smooth dark chocolate shell filled with a rich and velvety vegan caramel and crunchy pecan nuts. Topped with an elegant, burgundy-coloured chocolate layer.
  • A delectable dark chocolate shell filled with an indulgent and aromatic vegan caramel with coffee. Exquisitely finished with a smooth, coffee-coloured chocolate topping. 

The mouth-watering taste and quality you know and love

As pioneers among the Belgian chocolatiers, Neuhaus proudly presents their latest innovation: the Vegan Collection. In keeping with the chocolatier’s policy to never stop inventing, the idea was to create plant-based delicacies that would rival the non-vegan alternatives in terms of both quality and flavour. Customary praline ingredients have been artfully substituted by plant-based alternatives.

To replace the traditional dark chocolate used for pralines, the Maîtres Chocolatiers chose to use chocolate from Peru which contains 64% cocoa and avoids the use of milk fat. For a plant-based ‘milk’ chocolate alternative, the traditional milk powder has been replaced with a chickpea protein concentrate, which offers a similar flavour, mouthfeel and colour. Similarly, Neuhaus opted to replace milk powder with chickpea protein concentrate when creating their plant-based white chocolate.

The caramel filling has been refined and substitutes milk fat for luxurious coconut fat. The other dairy ingredients have been replaced by the plant-based alternative of pea protein. A fruit puree of tangerine and yuzu takes the place of the cream used in a conventional ganache, while retaining the classic flavour sensation you would expect.

About NEUHAUS

From its origins as a pharmacist to its present calling as a chocolatier, Neuhaus has always put caring for others and ensuring their wellbeing first. The family opened its first Neuhaus boutique in 1857 in the famous Galerie de la Reine in Brussels. To the delight of his customers, Jean Neuhaus cased his medicines in a thin layer of chocolate. In 1912, his grandson went one step further transforming this concept into the Belgian praline as we know it today, replacing the medicine in the chocolate casing with a delicious filling.

Neuhaus, the inventor of the Belgian praline, continues to pursue its goal of demonstrating its leadership qualities in the chocolate market by encouraging innovation and creating exciting new products with only natural ingredients.

Neuhaus and Belgium have been inextricably linked for more than 160 years - ever since our founder Jean Neuhaus opened his first boutique in the Galerie de la Reine in Brussels.
