Spring awakens in Neuhaus’ new Easter collection

The inventor of the Belgian praline has taken inspiration from real flowers for its latest Easter collection. Each of the delights in this collection is bundled up in packaging full of the joys of spring. The Easter collection contains the classics you would expect, while also comprising some new treats, such as a delectable range of ganache, and hollow and filled Easter figures. Make sure this exciting new collection graces your table this Easter.

Chocolate treats made for sharing

In line with all the best traditions, the classic Easter collection from Neuhaus returns this year: perfect as a gift for loved ones or to add joy to your Easter spread.

Delight in the little Easter bunnies with their pastel-coloured bows, each with 9 dark, milk, and white chocolate Easter eggs, or delve into the vibrant discovery box with its bountiful 11 Easter eggs. Another 6 eggs are hidden in a beautiful, floral print cracker.

The Neuhaus Easter collection includes large assortments perfect for sharing, such as the metal cylinder with 27 eggs and the large metal egg with 18 eggs. 30 iconic Neuhaus chocolates and Easter eggs in a range of flavours and textures are included in Neuhaus’ large Easter egg box.

For an additional treat, look no further than the iconic ballotins this Easter. Customers can choose from a wide selection and discover between 21 and 47 chocolate delights. There’s also the Neuhaus ballotin bursting with 40 Easter eggs.

Flower power

Tatakizome (or flower pounding) is a traditional, botanical print technique which originates in Japan and involves hammering freshly cut plants and flowers to create wonderful patterns on textiles. The delicate, yet simple process transfers the plant’s colour directly onto the fabric or paper beneath, resulting in a true work of art. The genius of this process was not lost on Neuhaus’ Maîtres Chocolatiers, who have taken great inspiration from tatakizome. Now, it is time for you to enjoy the fruits of their labours with the colourful Easter collection, which will add an extra joyful note to your Easter decorations.

Ballotoeufs: egg shells filled to bursting

Neuhaus' ballotoeufs are spectacular, handcrafted egg shells made of dark chocolate, milk chocolate, nut paste or gianduja, and filled with Easter eggs or chocolates in a range of flavours.

These luxuriously filled gourmet egg shells are perfectly packaged in a beautiful box bedecked with floral print and bow. Guaranteed to dazzle your guests!

Which flavour will tantalise your taste buds?

The Easter eggs in Neuhaus’ collection are filled with gianduja, praliné  and some delectable new flavours and ganache.

Is it your turn to host the easter egg hunt this year? If so, the extended collection will help you hide something for everyone. The collection includes hollow white, milk and dark chocolate eggs, and milk and dark chocolate praliné-filled eggs. Your guests can choose the delicate flavours of almond praliné, cookies, almond & hazelnut praliné or brésilienne, or go for the unmissable gianduja eggs. Or maybe they will pick one of the white, milk or dark chocolate eggs with puffed rice. Then there’s also the famous salted caramel ganache enrobed in a classic milk chocolate egg.

The milk chocolate Astrid eggs, sugar-glazed gianduja chocolates enriched with cocoa butter, and the dark chocolate vanilla-filled eggs are both extra treats.

New chocs on the block: ganache Easter eggs

This year, the Maîtres Chocolatiers at Neuhaus have developed 3 new ganache eggs to delight you and your guests. These complement their existing milk chocolate egg filled with salted caramel ganache. The new collection will include an egg filled with Venezuelan milk chocolate ganache (44% cocoa), an egg filled with Madagascar dark chocolate ganache (72% cocoa) and a milk chocolate egg filled with passion fruit ganache.

The new ganache Easter eggs will become a permanent feature in Neuhaus’ standard Easter egg assortment.

Filled and hollow Easter figurines

Looking for something with a little more detail than a freshly laid egg? Neuhaus’ milk and dark chocolate Easter bells and bunnies filled with delicious hazelnut or almond praliné fit the brief perfectly. A delicious, sweet treat.

Resplendent hollow white, milk and dark chocolate Easter figures are also available this year. These playful Easter bunnies, small and large Easter eggs, and an adorable flock of chickens will brighten any table this Easter.

About NEUHAUS

From its origins as a pharmacist to its present calling as a chocolatier, Neuhaus has always put caring for others and ensuring their wellbeing first. The family opened its first Neuhaus boutique in 1857 in the famous Galerie de la Reine in Brussels. To the delight of his customers, Jean Neuhaus cased his medicines in a thin layer of chocolate. In 1912, his grandson went one step further transforming this concept into the Belgian praline as we know it today, replacing the medicine in the chocolate casing with a delicious filling.

Neuhaus, the inventor of the Belgian praline, continues to pursue its goal of demonstrating its leadership qualities in the chocolate market by encouraging innovation and creating exciting new products with only natural ingredients.

Neuhaus and Belgium have been inextricably linked for more than 160 years - ever since our founder Jean Neuhaus opened his first boutique in the Galerie de la Reine in Brussels. Our pralines and truffles have always been crafted with consideration and respect in Belgium and we are firmly committed to upholding this tradition.
