Make everyone’s wishes come true this year with Neuhaus’ end-of-year collection

For the perfect Christmas, you’ll need to add a dash of merriment and a sprinkle of nostalgia to some festive cheer – but the recipe wouldn’t be complete without some splendid treats for you and your nearest and dearest this year. That’s why Neuhaus, the inventor of the Belgian praline, has once again conjured up a magical end-of-year collection full of original and innovative creations. Whether you begin your Christmas adventure with a journey back to forgotten childhood memories through the Limited Edition Souvenirs collection, impress your guests with this year’s reimagined Christmas Bûche, or delight your loved ones with the season’s collection of classics, Neuhaus has created something to make everyone’s Christmas even more magical this year.

Journey back to childhood with Limited Edition Souvenirs

Transport yourself back to your childhood and unlock magical forgotten memories this year with the Limited Edition Souvenirs collection. Peek under the cover of this whimsical book-shaped chocolate box to find 15 Belgian chocolate stars in three varieties, which were inspired by the Maîtres Chocolatiers’ cherished childhood memories.

The ‘Cuberdon’ dark chocolate filled with a sweet, raspberry-flavoured ganache was inspired by the purple ‘little noses’ sold in Belgian Christmas markets. The buttery salted caramel ganache filling of the milk chocolate ‘Babelutte’, with its hints of honey and brown sugar, is reminiscent of a classic Belgian seaside treat, and the ‘Kletskoppen’ white chocolate, filled with a sweet combination of creamy hazelnut praliné and crunchy almond lace cookies will remind you of your favourite Christmas biscuits.

Everybody needs a bit of magic in their lives.  That’s why Neuhaus will be supporting the Belgium South Make-A-Wish foundation through money generated from sales of this collection, as they grant real, life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses.  For more information:

Make A Wish

A Christmas Bûche that takes you on an exploration of tastes and textures

Get ready to wow everyone at your Christmas table with this year’s brand-new reimagining of everyone’s favourite holiday dessert, the Christmas Bûche.

The Buche by Yves Mattagne
The Buche by Yves Mattagne

Neuhaus’ Maîtres Chocolatiers have joined forces with the award-winning two Michelin star Belgian chef, Yves Mattagne – who is passionate about finding the best tastes and flavour combinations the world has to offer – to bring a unique twist to a festive classic. Slice into the crunchy buckwheat and Dandoy chocolate biscuit praliné coating to discover an indulgently thick covering of 80% cacao chocolate mousse, a tantalisingly sharp layer of passion fruit buttercream filling, and an almond biscuit sponge soaked in a pineapple coulis on a dark chocolate base.

Tuck into this dreamy dessert, and let the expertly crafted combination of rich flavours and exciting textures take you on an exotic journey this Christmas, without needing to leave the cosy confines of your home.

Looking for something extra to give to a Dandoy fan? Neuhaus’ Les Gourmands collection is the best of both worlds. This delicious assortment unites exquisite Belgian chocolate with artisanal biscuits – a real treat for biscuit and chocolate lovers.

A classic gift to hide under every tree

Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without the classics – especially when they’re crafted with love from the finest Belgian chocolate. From various sizes of elegantly presented gift boxes and ballotins, to the Christmas Star box (20 chocolates), the Christmas Tree box (27 chocolates), or the Special Winter Box (16 chocolates), there’s something for everyone. You can even hang a chocolate-filled ornament on your loved one’s tree. And if you’re looking for something to share with family, the 62-piece Festive Sharing box is brimming with decadent Belgian chocolates.

Let’s not forget about the smallest chocolate lovers. Thankfully, Neuhaus’ exquisitely designed hollow winter figurines (available in white, medium, and dark chocolate) are back for another year of fun. But there’s also a new addition  to the collection: children of all ages will love finding the jolly assortment of chocolates and filled figures inside the Holidays house box (5 chocolates)..

Whether you’re looking for a classic Christmas chocolate, or something new and exciting to share with your loved ones, there’s a delicious Belgian treat for every chocolate-lover this season with Neuhaus.

About NEUHAUS

From its origins as a pharmacist to its present calling as a chocolatier, Neuhaus has always put caring for others and ensuring their wellbeing first. The family opened its first Neuhaus boutique in 1857 in the famous Galerie de la Reine in Brussels. To the delight of his customers, Jean Neuhaus cased his medicines in a thin layer of chocolate. In 1912, his grandson went one step further transforming this concept into the Belgian praline as we know it today, replacing the medicine in the chocolate casing with a delicious filling.

Neuhaus, the inventor of the Belgian praline, continues to pursue its goal of demonstrating its leadership qualities in the chocolate market by encouraging innovation and creating exciting new products with only natural ingredients.

Neuhaus and Belgium have been inextricably linked for more than 160 years - ever since our founder Jean Neuhaus opened his first boutique in the Galerie de la Reine in Brussels. Our pralines and truffles have always been crafted with consideration and respect in Belgium and we are firmly committed to upholding this tradition.
